Home remedy for pain in the nipple

  • If there is a pain in the nipple due to excessive rubbing in the breast, then wear a bra of the proper size and good quality. Applying cream or ointment also reduces friction between the breasts.
  • Apply breast milk over the nipple before feeding the baby, it will not cause pain. Even after breastfeeding, apply your breast milk on the nipple and let it dry, the pain will end.
  • Prepare a paste by grinding basil leaves and apply it on the nipple, wash it after drying, it will relieve the pain of nipple.
  • Make a bundle by wrapping a piece of ice (ice cube) in a cloth and foment the upper part of the nipple with ice, you will get relief from pain.
  • Apply aloe vera gel over the nipple and let it dry for some time, then wash it with warm water. Repeat this process several times, the nipple pain will end.
  • Heat any oil of your choice in the microbe and then massage the oil above the nipple and breast with this oil. Nipple pain is eliminated by massaging several times a day.
